Over the past couple of years I've been blessed to travel around the world empowering and equipping ladies and leaders. My travels have taken me to various parts of Asia, Africa, North and South America, Canada, and the Middle East. Every time I say this it still blows my mind! During one of my trips to South Africa I hopped over to Cape Town to see all of it's beauty and splendor and what it had to offer me. I was not disappointed.
When I laid eyes on Table Mountain, a flat-topped mountain overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa, it nearly took my breath away. Not only was the mountain absolutely beautiful in statue and texture, it also had white, fluffy clouds surrounding the top of it (which I later learned the locals called the table cloth). As I took in this beautiful sight, God reminded me of the prophetic word spoken over my life in 2018 where He told me that "I was choosing to stay in the valley, but He had mountain tops waiting and prepared for me". I was never meant to sit in the valley, as Psalms 23:4 states, I was meant to walk "through" it.
Table Mountain represents so much for me in this season of my life. I know if I continue to trust God and take courageous steps towards the table He has prepared for me, He will continue to take me to new heights.
Thank you Lord for allowing me to experience your jaw dropping wonders. Even when I couldn't see my mountain top, You could and You knew exactly what You had prepared for me.
