I’M TIRED! Tired of watching the hatred and ignorance of people take out the lives of innocent people because of the color of their beautiful skin. Tired of reading posts from the misinformed on matters that they don’t have the capacity or willingness to understand. ​​

Tired of having to have conversations with my sons on why they have to act differently than others in situations in order to simply make it back home alive. Tired of seeing the same tragic news stories flash across my screen showing the same brown faces as the victims of yet another senseless murder. TIRED. TIRED. TIRED. Aren’t you tired? We should ALL be tired! It takes COURAGE to speak out against racial injustice and even more to put actions behind your words. Sitting back is not an option…it’s a shame! Let’s be courageous this week and use our voices to invoke change. And let's be courageous enough to help others correct their thinking and ignorant behaviors.
